Events at Spanish River Park
Boca Raton’s biggest oceanfront park hosts a handful of big annual events. The year ends with runBOCA, the Boca Raton 5K/10K, which starts and finishes in the park the Sunday after Christmas. Late winter brings the Boating & Beach Bash for People with Disabilities, a free day of boat rides, lunch and beach activities. From March through October, sea turtles nest on the beach, and Gumbo Limbo Nature Center marks the nests. Each September, Gumbo Limbo leads the International Coastal Cleanup here. Planning your own gathering? See the picnic areas and the park’s 10 rentable pavilions. Upcoming dates are listed below; for hours and fees, see the beach page.
