Spanish River Park in Boca Raton has some of the nicest places for a picnic in south Florida. Where else can you get such well-kept picnic areas with views of the Intracoastal Waterway, beautiful Banyan trees and green areas? All this and you’re just a short walk from the beach!
If you have a group of more than 25 people, you’ll need to reserve a shelter with the Boca Raton parks department by calling 561-393-7815.
All the picnic areas are well equipped and have trash receptacles, charcoal grills (bring your own charcoal…no wood fires!) and clean bathrooms nearby.
